A rowdy traveler was kicked off a Jetstar flight to applause from the entire cabin after an ugly war of words reportedly broke out over a window seat.
The woman, understood to be Australian, was filmed attacking passengers on the flight from Phuket to Sydney over the weekend.
According to posts on social media, the woman was frustrated “because she wanted to sit by the window.”
In a clip shared online, she was filmed excitedly saying “what’s going on habibi” to a camera.
In a separate video, his demeanor looked completely different as he shouted “I’m out, I’m out” as he tried to get out of his seat.
“Thank the king,” she said as she walked up the hall before pulling the items out of the upper cupboard.
Fellow travelers burst into applause as she exited the plane, only for her to make a quick Uturn right before exiting.
She ran up to a passenger and asked menacingly, “What did you call me?”
A different woman and man stood up and encouraged her to leave, shooing her away and dismissing her.
Speaking to a flight attendant, the woman was overheard asking “am I supposed to ignore her?”, to which the employee responded by nodding.
The woman continued to hover at the exit talking loudly and pointing for a while before walking away.
Jetstar confirmed a woman was removed from the flight after being “disruptive and using abusive and inappropriate language”.
“An unruly passenger was escorted off our flight prior to takeoff in Phuket after being disruptive and using abusive and inappropriate language towards other customers and our team members,” a spokesperson told news.com.au.
“Phuket Airport security was called and the passenger was escorted off the flight. We take safety very seriously and this type of behavior will not be tolerated on our aircraft.”
